Welcome to Harrow Vehicle Hire Services. These Terms of Service (Terms) govern your use of our website carhireharrow.co.uk and our vehicle rental services. By using our services

1. Harrow Tenancy

All vehicle rentals with Harrow are subject to a detailed Rental Agreement supplied with your booking confirmation or at vehicle collection. The agreement describes the terms and conditions, insurance information, charges, and your responsibilities for the rental in question. If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement will prevail.

2. Harrow Eligibility

To rent a vehicle from Harrow, you must:

  • For Harrow rentals, drivers must be at least 21 years old (age restrictions may vary by vehicle type, and additional charges may apply for drivers under 25). Hold a full, valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle category, held for the minimum period specified in the Rental Agreement. Provide valid photo identification and proof of address, and supply any insurance or payment documentation requested by Harrow.

3. Reservations and Payments

  • Bookings may be made via our website, by telephone, or in person at our Harrow location. A booking deposit may be required to confirm your reservation. Full payment and any security deposit are typically due when the vehicle is collected. All prices are shown in British Pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable.

4. Vehicle Collection and Return (Harrow)

  • At the Harrow collection point you must inspect the vehicle carefully and report any pre-existing damage immediately. A vehicle condition report will be completed and signed at collection. Return the vehicle in the same condition as received, allowing for normal wear and tear. Any new damage found on return will be assessed and charged to the hirer.

5. Harrow Insurance and Liability

  • Harrow provides basic third-party insurance with all rentals. The Rental Agreement sets out full coverage details and any excess amounts. Additional insurance options may be available to reduce your financial liability. Harrow recommends reviewing these carefully. You are responsible for damage or loss up to the stated excess amounts.

6. Harrow: Cancellation and Changes

Cancellation and amendment policies at Harrow vary by booking type and notice period. Please consult your booking confirmation or Rental Agreement for full details. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur charges.

7. Prohibited Uses of Harrow

You must not use the vehicle rented from Harrow for:

  • Use of a Harrow vehicle for any illegal purpose or activity. Participation in racing, rallying, off-roading, or other hazardous activities. Transporting hazardous or dangerous materials. Sub-letting the vehicle to third parties or permitting its use by unauthorized drivers. Operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Any use that falls outside the vehicle’s intended design or specifications...

Violating these restrictions may lead to immediate rental termination and Harrow-assessed charges.

8. Limitation of Harrow's Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by English and Welsh law, Harrow Vehicle Hire Services will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data or business arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Harrow Vehicle Hire Services for the services that gave rise to the claim.

9. Applicable Law

These Terms for Harrow are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from them will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to Harrow Terms

Harrow may amend these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of Harrow services signifies acceptance of the revised Terms.
